Choosak upbeat to find an acceptable way for charter rewrite

PM's Office Minister Choosak Sirinin on Tuesday said tomorrow's meeting of coalition partners would likely reach a conclusion on how to proceed with the charter rewrite.

"I believe the coalition parties will finalise the format to amend the charter after reviewing the pros and cons for each option," he said.

Choosak said the senatorial proposal to form the Constitution Drafting Assembly was one of the options.

He called on senators and parties concerned not to speculate on the matter before coalition parties could meet and draw conclusion. He said none of the parties concerned opposed the rewrite although they had differing ideas on the rewriting process.
