Four candidates nominated for the Constitution Court

The Constitution Court selection committee on Monday nominated four candidates for the bench and would forward the nominations for the vetting by the Senate.

The four comprise two experts in the law and two from the field of political science and public administration.

Justice permanent secretary Jaran Pakdithakul and Appeal Court senior judge Wasant Soipisut are nominated under the law category. And two retired diplomats, Supoj Kaimook and Chalermphol Aekuru, are picked under the political science quota.

The four candidates, if appointed, will sit on the bench with five judges as exofficio members.
