Party time as 'Daily Xpress' launches tonight

Some of the hottest musicians and bands will be playing tonight at the launch of Daily Xpress, Thailand's first free English-language newspaper.

Party time as 'Daily Xpress' launches tonight

The "W'Hot on earth is going on?" party will take place at Centara, Central World, with more than 2,000 guests.

Daily Xpress, with an audited circulation of 100,000 copies daily, will debut tomorrow morning, with distribution all over Bangkok and in Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin and Koh Samui. It is published by The Nation.

Tonight's event will feature activities and games related to subjects covered by Daily Xpress: city life, lifestyle and entertainment, world and sports news.

Guests will be entertained by artists from GMM Grammy, RS, Academy Fantasia, Spicydisc, Grove Rider, LOVEIS, Champ, Too Katto, Smallroom and Tattoo Colure.

Freesheet newspapers have started to arrive in Asia, with local-language editions in India, Korea, Hong Kong and a dual-language English-Chinese edition in Singapore.

Daily Xpress, the pioneer in Thailand, is designed for readers in the 25-35 age group.
