Future of Super Aguri F1 team remains uncertain

Barcelona (dpa) - The future of the Super Aguri team remains in doubt with less than three weeks to go to the start of the 2008 Formula One season.

The Japanese team has already had to cancel the launch of its new car and is searching for potential investors. Team principal Aguri Suzuki has reportedly also turned to engine supplier Honda for help.

The Super Aguri team has yet to confirm its driver line-up and also withdrew from the final three-day pre-season test that began on Monday at the Circuit de Catalunya.

Suzuki confirmed to Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa on Tuesday that the team was instead concentrating fully on the first race of the new F1 season, the Australian Grand Prix, which takes place on March 16 in Melbourne.
