Thai-Kuwait open-skies deal

Thailand and Kuwait have signed an open-skies agreement to free up air travel between the countries.

Under the deal inked in Bangkok, national carriers can operate flights with no restrictions on plane models or the number of seats.

Fawaz al-Farah, head of the Kuwaiti delegation, said his country's aircraft could fly to all international airports in Thailand, saying this step was in line with the Kuwaiti government's policy of opening skies with different nations and placing Kuwait Airport on the operational network.
