Storah, managing director and CEO of L-TAG Technologies, said the firm would focus on business-related security access and security products for home users and high-end customers. It also imports security products from Australia for the Thai security market.
The firm divides its business into three areas. BQT Solutions provides access control and delivery-complex products as well as products for home users, corporate and government sectors. Rhino Technology provides home security and vehicle security systems, wireless security, surveillance systems and video surveillance equipment for small medium and enterprises.
Microlatch Group combines biometrics with wireless technology to create identification, access and building security systems to offer enhanced security that is cost effective, easy to install and does not require any modification to computer security systems or standard access cards.
"L-TAG Technologies has created unprecedented opportunities under the Thailand Australia Free Trade Agreement for trade and investment between the two countries," said Storah.
He said the Thai security market represented a strong opportunity since Thailand is now spending much more on security technology and business efficiency. The company would distribute its products through various channels and expects to set up 20 dealers within a few months and have 50 dealers by the end of this year. The firm expected to reach revenue of around Bt20 million by the end of the year.
