Sansiri launches Hive brand

Property firm Sansiri has launched a new condominium brand called The Hive, with the first project on Bangkok's Sathorn Road worth Bt1.6 billion and targeting the middle market with a price of Bt80,000 per square metre.

President Srettha Thavisin yesterday said the brand would focus on the middle-income market, in which demand is strong with a share of 15-20 per cent of the total condo-market volume of about 70,000 units a year.

The company expects sales from The Hive brand to account for about 30 per cent of its overall estimated sales of Bt20 billion this year. Sansiri plans to launch 15 residential projects worth Bt15.3 billion this year: six will be for condominiums, five for single-detached houses and four for townhouses.

The Hive on Sathorn Road will have 363 units.
