Supreme Court rules in favour of advance voting results

The Supreme Court ruled on Friday to dismiss charges relating to the supervision of advance voting on December 15to16 and confirmed the legality of the advance balloting results.

The lawsuit was filed by New Aspiration Party spokesman Sarawut Thongpen who argued that the Election Commission had exceeded its mandate in organising the advace balloting.

The high court ruled in favour of the EC after finding that the balloting process adhered to relevant laws.
