Police suspect blighted love

A Bangkok University student committed suicide by jumping from the ninth storey of one of the buildings in the Lumpini Centre Sukhumvit 77 Condominium complex in Bangkok's Suan Luang district yesterday.

Police suspect the reason behind the suicide of Payichat Kasemsuk was stress pertaining to a personal issue, and they will interrogate her boyfriend.

The victim had cuts on her left wrist.Police found a diary in the top-floor room where she lived describing her love for a man and suggesting that she was bored with life. A note saying: "Kate's birthday on May 5, 2008; must get a condo at Lumpini Centre Sukhumvit 77 Condominium" was found stuck on the fridge door.
