Mokhtari leaves Duisburg for Qatar

Hamburg (dpa) - Moroccan international Youssef Mokhtari is to join Qatar's Al-Rayyan Sports Club from Germany's Duisburg, the Bundesliga club said Thursday.

Duisburg have agreed to release the 28-year-old midfielder with immediate effect before the expiry in June of his contract.

SV Hamburg are about to sign Belarussian 20-year-old midfielder Anton Putilo from Dinamo Minsk, Kicker magazine reported.

Putilo impressed coach Huub Stevens during a trial in December, the report said. There was no confirmation from the club.

VfL Bochum coach Marcel Koller has signed a two-year extension to his contract. Koller's contract now runs to June 30, 2010.

Japan international Shinji Ono is meanwhile expected at Bochum on Friday. A transfer from Urawa Red Diamonds is in the offing if the player passes a fitness test.

Brazilian defender Gledson is to move from champions VfB Stuttgart to his former club, Hansa Rostock, Stuttgart officials said.

Gledson, who has a contract with Stuttgart until 2010, has failed to win a regular place in the team. He played under Rostock coach Frank Pagelsdorf both at VfL Osnabrueck between 2003 and 2004, as well as Rostock between 2005 and 2007.
