Siriraj Hospital staff continue treating and monitoring the 84-year-old Princess, the statement said.

Well-wishers attend the hospital daily. Many come as families. State officials and staff of organisations took the opportunity of the weekend to visit yesterday too.

People in yellow and pink shirts took their children and relatives to sign a get-well book. In return, each received a commemoration book celebrating the Princess' May 6 birthday, and a pocket calendar featuring the Princess and His Majesty the King.

Among yesterday's visitors were Bangkok Governor Apirak Kosayodhin and family, eight Chulalongkorn University Alumni Association committee members, teachers and students from Thaikla Wittaya School in Phitsanulok and 10 representatives of the Princess Mother's Medical Volunteer Foundation in Chon Buri.
