Opened just recently is B@S, a sports bar right next to Concept CM2 that offers all sorts of gadgets as well as a menu for noshing or for hearty meals.
In the pleasant interior are 13 large plasma screens plus a giant panoramic projection screen, all showing the latest sports events around the world.
For your own bit of sport, at the bar is a sensor-controlled digital Interactive Happy Hour Game, which, when you play it, allows you to win a round for free, or half-price or buy-one-get-one-free.
Happy hours are from 5 to 10. You can play pool or air hockey, or check out the pinball machine, arcade game, or sit down at a traditional board game.
For music, Novotel has installed Oxtron, a state-of-the-art music-video graphics system, which the owners say is the first of its kind in Asia.
If you come for the food, you won't be disappointed. B@S has created a menu of all sorts of dishes. The list of appetisers and snacks ranges from garlic pizza bread to buffalo wings (Bt120) to a combo platter (Bt300) of buffalo wings, onion rings, mini-sausages and dough balls.
The menu offers Asian snacks as well. The grilled satay (Bt150) has its own special presentation, with the sticks secured to a pineapple. You can find other Thai snacks as well.
Pasta dishes are available as well - spaghetti or penne served with a choice of sauces, lasagne (Bt220) and pizzas (seafood pizza with egg (Bt250)).
Do save room for a sandwich. The Squrger, a square-shaped grilled beef burger (Bt220), is tasty besides having a charm all its own.
B@S has much more, of course, but you should check out this sports bar out for yourself.
