The F500 features dual LCD screens. Its 1.5-inch screen at the front, which displays 176 x 220 pixels in 65k colours, serves as the main screen for the phone function.

The fun is its 2.4-inch screen at the back, which is capable of displaying 240 x 320 pixels in 262k colours. You can enjoy watching digital video on this screen. Apart from MPEG4 and Windows Media Video, the F500 can play DivX video. An application is provided for you to convert your DVD movies to DivX format to enjoy on the F500.

It comes with 350 megabytes of internal memory for storing DivX video files or other digital movies. The memory can be expanded with a 2-GB microSD card.

Of course the F500 can also function as an MP3 player, displaying the playlist on its large screen on the back. It supports MP3/AAC/AAC+/AAC++/WMA/AC3 digital sound formats.

The F500 operates on 900/1800/1900MHz GSM networks and HSDPA 3.5G HSDPA networks at 2.1 GHz. It can also connect to the EDGE network in Thailand where 3G is still unavailable.

The F500 looks like a candy bar, measured at 116.5 x 50.4 x 10.7 mm. It comes with a protective cover, which serves as an extra battery unit, allowing you to enjoy watching movies or listening to music longer while on the move.

The F500 also comes with a 2.0-megapixel camera.
