Aimed at teenagers, True Digital president Thiti Nantapatsiri hopes the game will create an "online music community".
Hip Street will debut at the Thailand Game Show from January 10-13 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.
It will make a trial run next February before general release in March.
Thiti said company revenue from digital content was running at about Bt400 million a year, including the online game Special Force. He would not specify revenue targets for Hip Street.
The country's online game market is worth about Bt2 billion a year.
Snail Electronic general manager and major shareholder Shi Hai said the company was tapping the worldwide market. It has registered capital of US$2 million (Bt67.22 million) and three online-game products.
Hip Street once recorded 100,000 simultaneous players in China, the maximum possible, he said.
Hip Street gamers choose a 3D character to dance alone or together with. Competitions can be held.
