8pm: Members of the Cabinet, high-ranking state officials and groups of individuals are granted an audience with the King at Dusitalai Pavilion in Chitralada Palace. His Majesty will deliver his birthday speech.

December 5, 2007

9.45am - 11.30am: A procession of holy water from Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram to Chakri Maha Prasart Throne Hall. The public can cheer for His Majesty by the road from Chitralada Royal Villa to the Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall.

10.30am: The King will appear on the front balcony of the Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall, located in the Grand Palace compound.

5.15pm - 8pm: Royal ceremonies will be held to mark the King's 80th birthday. Candlelight ceremonies will also be held at Chitralada Palace and Sanam Luang to honour the King.

December 6

10.30am - Noon: Merit-making ceremony at the Amarin Vinijchai Throne Hall.

December 7

6.45pm - 7.30pm: HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will represent the King in a grand party at Government House.
