Closure of roads
The section of Phra Sumen Road between the Banglamphu Intersection and Somdej Phra Pinklao Bridge will be closed to traffic between 6pm and 9pm on Saturday for the Loy Krathong festival.

"All vehicles will be directed to Chakra-bongse Road or Sibsamhang Road," said Deputy Metropolitan Police Commissioner Maj-General Panu Kerdlarpphol yesterday.
A major event to celebrate the Loy Krathong festival will be held around Santichai-prakarn Park, Phra Sumen Road and Phra Athit Road.
