Piyamala Issarasena Na Ayudhaya and Parisa Burapachaisri plus four of their friends have opened a bijou shop called Bsquared, at La Villa, a new hip shopping space on Bangkok's Phaholyothin Road, close to Ari BTS station.
The idea is simple, says Piyamala. "Our friends live in the US, England and Hong Kong and we all have similar tastes but different styles. So we thought one day that since we all love shopping, why don't we open our own shop?"
Piyamala explains that the different styles on offer in the boutique reflect the different fashions favoured by the owners, which creates choices for customers. For example, she has contributed a sexy look with items like spaghetti-strap dresses, while a friend of hers prefers to cut a more elegant dash, so there are neat and refined outfits available too. It all adds up to racks of brand-name outfits and accessories as well perfumes, handmade fashions and items produced for export, such as jackets.
Bsquared deals in the latest trends, which means that shoppers can expect the same kind of rotation of items they'd see in the windows of an international capital of fashion like London's Kensington High Street. For this winter, black, burnished brown and dark blue are in, and make room in your wardrobe for a pair of tight-fitting trousers.
