The German federation, the DTB, quoted Haas on its website: "It's no longer an issue."
Haas said that the testing produced no conclusions, and the suspicious matter is no longer under discussion. "The tests gave no results, because this all happened so far in the past," he said.
The controversy arose after the German defeat, when teammate Alexander Waske said he was approached by a shadowy figure suggesting that something bad could happen to Haas in the Russian capital.
Haas was unable to compete in his second weekend match due to illness.
"I wanted to be absolutely clear about what was happening to my body," Haas said.
After testing, Florida-based Haas took the opportunity to have a minor shoulder operation in New York but expects to play in January's Australian Open.
