Chanothai Songvanich, Thanasin Chuawangkham and the Raksriaksorn brothers - Aiyawatt and Apichet - who will represent the Kingdom at the Games, will take part in the competition for King Power against Singapore and Hong Kong, and two domestic teams - Black Dog and Polo Escape.

"Rather than win, we expect our players to play safely and avoid injuries as the Games are coming soon," said Thavatjai Thaveesri, president of the Thai Polo Association (TPA).

"But for the SEA Games, we are confident our team will win the gold this time. The team has been training in England for three months. Malaysia is a strong rival. They have been playing for long and have more good players. But anything can happen," he said.

The Argentinean Ambass-ador, Felipe Frydman, said that the main objective of the six-goal event is to raise the quality of the game in the Kingdom and support good ties between Argentina and the TPA.
