SET closes up marginally

Thai shares closed marginally up on Friday as investors still kept themselves at bay to digest the US economic situation.

The SET index was in volatile sessions today. It ended the market at 874.64, up 0.11 per cent. Turnover was thin at Bt16.95 billion.

Among most actives; PTT Plc (PTT) went up 1 per cent at Bt400, Banpu Plc (BANPU) was off 1.9 per cent at Bt404, PTT Chemical Plc (PTTCH) lost 3 per cent at Bt129, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) fell 1.8 per cent at Bt83.50.
