HM the King returns to Chitralada Palace

HM the King leaves Siriraj Hospital Wednesday after receiving medial treatment 26 days ago.



Dressed in pink suit, HM the King paid respect to statues of his parents; Prince Songkhla and Princess Mother before leaving the hospital. HM the King took photos of people waiting for him.

At first, HM the King sit in a electric wheelchair. Later he stood up and walked with helper to his car.

Thousands of Thai people clad in yellow shirts or t-shirts occupied the ground at the hospital waiting to see HM the King leave the hospital.

People always lined up along the road that HM the King's motorcade will pass.

The Metropolitan Police Bureau deployed 250 policemen to keep security along the route that His Majesty takes back to the Palace.

Her Majesty the Queen went to the hospital at 10:45 am to accompany HM the King  back to the Palace.
