The pictorial book "Thailand: Nine Days in the Kingdom" will be launched at the Zen Event Gallery on the eighth floor of Zen in CentralWorld on Thursday.
HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will preside over the opening at 6pm. The multimedia exhibition features some 400 photos taken by 55 photographers, including 11 from Thailand, featuring various views of the Kingdom.
Anuchai Secharunputong portrays reverence for the HM the King, while The Nation's Charoon Thongnual reflects on the conflict in south Thailand and its unseen culture. German Greg Gorman captures Thai boxing. American James Nachtwey takes Aids and treatment for the disease in Thailand as his subject. Stunning aerial views of Thailand are taken by Yann Arthus-Bertrad.
The show runs until November 25. The book costs Bt1,750 and is available at B2S, Asia Books and Kinokuniya.

Rare textile collections from Burma, Cambodia, China and Malaysia will be on display in the exhibition, "Weaving Paradise: Southeast Asian Textiles and their Creators", at the Jim Thompson Art Centre from tomorrow until January 31.
On display will be nearly 30 pieces of textiles. The show is curated by Linda McIntosh and designed by Patchara Pitipanich.
The centre on Kasemsan Soi 2 (BTS: National Stadium) is open from 9am to 8pm daily.
