Mystic or myopic? Korn through the looking glass

With the immortal line, "This is politics - change happens all the time", Pracharaj Party deputy leader Korn Dabaransi dismissed the fiasco that was supposed to have been The Great Political Merger of 2007.

Published on October 29, 2007

The wheels fell off and the juggernaut burst into flames, and Korn fetched the sticks for a marshmallow roast. The sticks he chose represent both good news and bad news for the Democrat Party.

For one thing, he said, he - possibly but not necessarily meaning the Pracharaj Party - wholeheartedly supports Democrat leader Abhisit Vejjajiva as the next prime minister.

On the other hand, he said, he has been to the mountaintop and seen the promised land - and the People Power Party is in charge. They'll sweep the election, he predicted.

Off-the-cuff analysis: Korn reckons he's going to be an opposition MP.
