Panasonic aims No.1 in all key markets

Panasonic Group has set up its "GP3" business plan (Global Progress, Global Profit, and Global Panasonic) for Thailand to take on all major rivals and become the market leader in key flagship products by 2009.

Daizo Ito, CEO of Panasonic Group in Thailand, said the company wanted to beat all rivals in the market to be number one player in all major merchandises, which are plasma televisions, digital still cameras, airconditioners, and refrigerators.

 He said that Panasonic had currently already the number one player in the market in many products, which are electronic shower machine, fax machine, cordless telephone, projector, and electronic board or so called 'Panaboard'.
