Knorr to promote vegetable intakes

Unilever Thai Trading will sponsor its first TV reality show in Thailand set to promote its Knorr products.

The TV show titled "Talui Krua Pua Tua Lek" (Kitchen Adventure for My Kids) is designed to entertain and educate kids and to encourage vegetable intake among them. The TV reality show will communicate with families and kids through three celebrity families: Pimolwan (Pui) Suppayang, Siriporn (Tak) Yooyord, and Fundee (Tai) Janyathanakorn, who will demonstrate and explore new tricks on how to prepare delicious veggie dishes with a help from Knorr Cube, for their kids.

It will be aired on Channel 5 every Saturday from 12.30 to 13.00 for 13 consecutive weeks, starting from October 6.

Jerome Charachon, vice president - foods and ice cream, Unilever Thai Trading, said that "Despite World Health Organization (WHO)'s recommendation for kids to eat 400 grams of vegetables a day, it's shocking to learn from various health reports from the Thai Health Ministry, health and nutrition institutions, as well as Unilever's own research that Thai children eat only one third of the WHO's recommended daily intake of vegetables."
