"The IAEA dispatched four experts to Thailand to give advice in the areas of regulatory framework, international bidding, supervision, human resources development, safety, environmental protection, waste handling as well as public relations," Krob Krittayakeeron, chairman of the Nuclear Power Infrastructure Preparation Committee, said yesterday.

After the meetings with the IAEA, the nuclear power infrastructure establishment plan will be drafted and presented to the National Energy Policy Council in the middle of next month, he said. The details will then be handled by six subcommittees.

Thailand is a member of the IAEA.
