This is our key strategy to driving Canon to become no. 1 and enjoy top market share in both colour and black/white multifunction copiers within the next two years," said Capt. Soontorn.
The Business Imaging Solution (BIS) Division reports a 20 per-cent growth in sales during the first half of this year. According to IDC, the Division also achieved its target market share of 18 per-cent within the first half of this year - well ahead of schedule. It was originally aimed to achieve this figure by the end of 2007.
"As we have achieved 18 per-cent market share earlier than we expected, this is shown as our major success for 2007," said Soontorn.
