The highlighted event will be held on December 5, when holy water will be brought from the Emerald Buddha Temple at 9.30am to be presented to His Majesty the King, who will grant a public audience at a new throne to be built at Sanam Luang.
At 10.30am, well-wishers and participants, expected in yellow shirts, will sing two songs to hail His Majesty and the Royal anthem. This event will be televised live nationwide and to 176 countries in six continents through Thai Global Network satellite channel.
Similar events will be held at all 16 public parks in Bangkok - and around the Kingdom - along with four performances later in the day.
A royally hosted banquet will also be held at Government House, followed by a firework display.
The public are now invited to sign well-wishing messages for His Majesty on the website of the Provincial Administration Department: www.dopa.go.th/bless_king.
Apart from the Royal Krathin barge ceremony on the Chao Phya River on November 5, and His Majesty's annual review of the Royal guards at the Royal Plaza on December 2, the government will hold an oath-taking ceremony involving government officials at Government House on December 4 at 8am.
