Beauty spice for Thailand Open
[TENNIS] Fifteen Miss Thailand World Beauty Pageant contestants will spice up the Thailand Open by working as "ball girls" in the US$550,000 (Bt18.7 million) tournament.

MISS THAILAND World Beauty Pageant contestants who will be the ball girls during the Thailand Open.
The star-studded meet will take place from September 22 to 30 at the Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, with more than 70 world-class players including No 2 Rafael Nadal and powerful server Andy Roddick participating.
Organisers BEC Tero Entertainment provided a training course for the beauty contestants, teaching them the rules and regulations of the game on Saturday.
Wild-card Danai Udomchoke said the presence of the beauties will make it more than a tennis competition. "Spectators will be entertained not only by the form of the players but also the beauty of the ball girls.
"It's a good idea. Players quickly get over their fatigue when they see them smiling and handing towels," Danai said.
