Passionista 'till you drop

These are just some of the things you could be doing if you are a member of S' Club: Passionistas' Society.

"We intend to be a centre for fun activities. Participating in activities is more important than shopping. We want to you to join us," says Siam Piwat managing director Chadatip Chutrakul.

S' Club is for young people who love inspiring activities.

"There are some special things among 'dek siam'. They are modern, eager to learn new things and update themselves in fashion and entertainment trends and high technology, too.

"I realise the importance of these groups. They have passion and power to follow their dreams. But everything they do has to be fun and the right thing," Chadatip says.

The club will hold various activities for members, normally about one each month.

There is street basketball as well as rock climbing and diving. In fashion, you might have the chance to participate in a design contest.

But if being behind the scenes is not your thing you can join a model-to-be workshop or be cast as a model with Cheese Studio.

The club has an alliance with broadcaster Atime Media, so the club might hold contests and workshops with it.

"The membership might support us to do activities we never did before. I want to learn diving, personality and make-up and I think I have chance to do so soon," Jinaporn Phumsir, 20, a third-year student at Chulalongkorn University says.

Members can meet and make new friends at S' Club Privilege Lounge located on the fourth floor of Siam Centre. You can also update to the latest technology because the club displays and allows you to try new gadgets.

"Sometimes we come here and just ramble. It's convenient to have a place for relaxing and chilling out. We might read books and check out the latest technology," says ML Athadis Diskul, 21.

S' Club Members get 5-per-cent to 50-per-cent discounts at more than 200 shops at Siam Centre and Siam Discovery and more than 100 business alliances.

"Come here to Siam Centre ... you don't have to shop. But if you choose to shop it's the best," says Chadatip.
