She has found a new talent in writing a pocketbook about her life. About two years ago, Charlotte was approached by WPS (Thailand), a printing firm of the Nation Multimedia Group, for the book project. Since her life and career have been very colourful, it would be of interest to general readers to know her real self and how she developed her sterling career.
But it was not until recently that Charlotte agreed to say yes.
Before joining entertainment company Media of Medias, Charlotte had a highly successful stint at Bank of Ayudhya, overseeing retail finance and corporate communications. She was the voice and face of Bank of Ayudhya, whose management preferred to remain low profile. Charlotte took the bank through a "yellow revolution".
Bank of Ayudhya adopted yellow as its new colour, decorating its branch offices in yellow and improving its image as a modern banking institution.
Given her excellent performance and warm and friendly personality, many are curious about how she has come so far professionally. Nowadays, working women enjoy successful careers no less than men do, but Charlotte's achievements are unique.
Charlotte's pocketbook is scheduled to land on bookshelves on October 11, coinciding with a major book fair. So Charlotte must speed up writing her manuscript.
Charlotte also worked on the book during her hospital stay, and the manuscript is halfway finished. She is now writing the part about working at Bank of Ayudhya, where she spent a decade polishing her career.
Although the copy is not yet complete, Charlotte is trying to find a catchy title to compete against other pocketbooks on the market.
Could her book be called "Here I Am"?
Oh dear!
"It's possible my book will be on the bookshelves near 'Thaksin - Where Are You?' So, 'Here I Am' could be a best-seller," she joked.
Cheers exploded in the hospital room.
Lydia, a famous young singer who is known to be close to ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, recently came out with a book called "Here I Am". The queen of R&B has played golf and sung karaoke with the deposed prime minister amid a swirl of gossip.
One financial reporter sent Charlotte an SMS to inform her about Lydia's book title - the same as hers.
A few minutes later, Charlotte's message appeared on the reporter's mobile phone: "Yes, I'm surprised myself. I need to change the name."
Yes, just like the Thaksin group.
Hmmm!
