Free fruits to travellers at Suvarnabhumi

Suvarnabhumi Airport is giving away fruits to travellers who use the service at the airport during September 5-11, under the "Experience Thai Taste in Thai Fruits" campaign.

Over 20 tonnes of famous Thai fruits such as longkong, mangosteen, rambutan and longan. Travellers can come to taste the fruits for free.

"We want to promote Thai fruits to foreigners and help farmers who suffer from the sharp deterioration in the fruit prices, especially those in the restive South," said Suvarnabhumi director Serirat Prasutanond.

About 40,000 foreigners travel to Thailand daily via Suvarnabhumi Airport.
