CPF president Sukhawat Dansermsuk said yesterday that CPF chicken sausages were particularly suitable for in-house consumption and had spearheaded the deal, covering auditoriums and food courts.
CPF expects the channel to contribute annual sales of Bt20 million in addition to its current total sausage sales of Bt5 billion or 60,000 tonnes. The company expects to include other products such as Jerhigh dog food.
Sukhawat said the partners would expand cooperation to other forms later.
He said the company was not affected by baht appreciation due to very high orders. Two reasons for the good performance are global warming that has decreased the capacity of chicken farms and China's current problem in product quality.
Export revenue for processed and frozen food are expected to increase from the usual 60 per cent to 70 per cent.
