Siripong Poongthaisong, head of data communication and IP, said the firm submitted a Calling Card licence request to NTC a couple of months ago in order to expand its business services. The firm also provides VoIP technology services called CallCafe which use VoIP technology to provide voice communication to everyone. Users can make free calls to many destinations over the Internet and at low rates to regular phones.

The company now provides various CallCafe services such as call back or Call4Flip that can be used through a website, and also instant messaging (SMS) to connect any phone number to many destinations worldwide.

Others are CallCafe SMS, Fax2EMAIL and Call4Follow Me. CallCafe SMS is a service that allows mobile users to send messages to their friends and family worldwide via VoIP.
