The Pirab Noi Cherng Doi team from Chiang Mai University made a radio documentary named "Kan Lom Khong Chohuai Kan Lomsalai Khong Wattanatam Chumchon" (the collapse of local retailers, the ruin of community culture).
The Raisom 50 team from Bangkok University made a TV documentary called "Attama Kue Phra Puying" (I am a woman monk).
The competition drew 62 entries - 19 radio documentaries and 43 TV documentaries.
Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University's Seksan team and Mahasarakam University's MC.MSU team received consolation prizes for their radio documentaries.
Rangsit University's RSU NEWS team and Sripatum University's Sripatum team got consolation prizes for their TV documentaries.
The Pirab Noi Cherng Doi team was awarded Bt15,000 and a shield of honour for winning the radio category, with the two runners-up receiving Bt7,500 and a shield of honour.
The Raisom 50 team received Bt25,000 and a shield of honour for winning the TV category, with the runners-up being awarded Bt12,000 and a shield of honour.
The awards, called "Sai Fa Noi" (little thunderbolt), were organised to promote and develop the third-year and fourth-year students' creativiness in producing high-quality radio and television programmes, as well as to prepare them for their chosen vocation.
