The tragic tale of unrequited love between a Japanese geisha and an American lieutenant, "Madame Butterfly" has long filled audiences with wonder at its beautiful score and sorrow in its heart-wrenching plot. This new production has been revamped under San Francisco-based designer Dean Shibuya, who seeks to bring more artistic Japanese style to the production.
Sung in Italian with Thai and English translation, the showtimes are at 8pm. Tickets range from Bt500 to Bt5,000, available from Thaiticketmajor.

Let's dance!
Dance, film and music merge in "Remember...What You Have Done in 24 Hours?" until Sunday at Patravadi Theatre.
Billed as "a homecoming dance theatre project by Thai artists with international experience", the performance is the brainchild of the dancer-choreographer team Jitti Chompee and Sarawanee Tanatanit.
Jitti and Sarawanee will be joined by veteran dancers Pattra Sarikaputra, Krarat Chaimuangraj, Nuttavut Aunyaratroungroj, Olivier Vinkler, Amarin Cholvibul and Sirithorn Srichalakom.
Scenes of daily life - waking up, daydreaming, visiting the bathroom, etc - will be depicted in a lighter tone, with the repetitive nature of modern life taking on a darker tone.
Adding to the mix is a film by Tanon Sattarujawong and a music score by glass harpist Weeraphong Thaweesak.
Showtimes are at 8pm. Tickets are Bt1,000, Bt600 and Bt400 (Bt200 for students), available at Thaiticketmajor.
