SET closes 2.62% higher

The Thai stock market on Wednesday closed 2.62 per cent higher after a 3.5 per cent fall on Tuesday.

The SET index was in cheerful mood for the entire day and it ended the market at 784.43.

PTT Plc (PTT) rose 4.35 per cent at Bt288, PTT Exploration and Production Plc (PTTEP) jumped 4.72 per cent at Bt111, Bangkok Bank (BBL) surged 2.65 per cent at Bt116 and Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) went up 4.11 per cent at Bt76.
