EWC's shareholder meeting on Oct 2
Eastern Wire Plc's shareholders will convene on October 2 to consider the board of directors' resolution to reduce the accumulated losses.
The resolution was reached at the board's meeting on Tuesday, the company said in the filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Under the resolution, legal reserves and partial share premiums worth Bt675.34 million will be used to write off the company's accumulated losses.
As of June 30, EWC's accumulated losses stood at Bt691 million. On the date, its legal reserves were at Bt15.9 million and the share premium of Bt990.46 million.
