MOF plans to issue Bt160-bn bond

Finance Ministry plans to issue government bonds worth Bt160 billion for next fiscal year to finance budget deficit, said on Tuesday Pongpanu Svetarundra, director general of Public Debt Management Office.

Pongpanu yesterday met with executives from Government Pension Fund, Social Security Fund and other investors discussing about bond market next

fiscal.

The ministry might issue bond with fiveyear maturity between Bt60 billion to 80 billion and 10year maturity about Bt80 billion, he said and added that the government would raise fund to finance fiscal deficit for the next fiscal which will start in October.
