Thailand's Buaban Pamang ruled the women's javelin throw qualifying, pulling off a fabulous form to reach the final as top of overall qualifiers.

The 23-year-old Buaban, whose her personnel best is 61.31m set at the Asian Games last year, stole the limelight at the Main Stadium inside Thammasart University Sports Complex with a below-par record of 58.35m. The final round takes place on Tuesday.
