The sleek design of Spa 10 on the 10th floor of Bangkok's new concept hotel Siam@Siam ought to give you an idea what they have in mind for your physique.

The 1,000-square-metre-plus facility has gone for an arty, ultra-cool look with its lighting and natural materials.

There are 14 treatment rooms - four of them with two beds. The Thai massage salon has six beds, and there's an open-air garden where you can get your feet tickled, plus steam rooms, a Jacuzzi, an outdoor swimming pool an 865sqm gym with state-of-the-art cardio and weight machines and a qualified trainer.

The gym is open daily from 6am to 10pm.

Also on offer are hydrotherapy and infrared sauna, a juice bar for fast and healthy energy top-ups, stretching sessions and lifestyle-improvement programmes.

With an extensive menu of personalised treatments for the mind and body, Spa 10 utilises the Dermalogica product range.

The signature treatment is the Spa 10 Massage (Sib Massage in Thai), sometimes is referred to as "freestyle" massage.

You begin with a consultation to pinpoint your needs and preferred approach, and then the therapist tailors the programme to match.

Most spas offer a range of standard massages - Swedish, shiatsu, Thai, acupressure - but the "Sib" combines techniques to ensure maximum benefit.

Celebrating Mother's Day all this month, Spa 10 is offering a "10 Points of Love" package for mums and their children. You each get a facial and body treatment for a combined Bt5,700. And Nation readers signing up also get a free loofah scrub for two.
