Tamarine Tanasugarn was still unable to end the jinx of arch-rival Gisela Dulko as she surrendered once again to the Argentine 1-6 3-6 in the second round of the US$600,000 LA Open on Tuesday

Tamarine had never even taken a set from the pony-tailed Argentine in their two previous meets in San Diego and New York three years ago and, coming to this clash determined to snap these losing streaks.

But she was overwhelmed with unforced errors in the first set and managed to win only one game.

The Thai situation improved as she held her service games solidly to lead 3-2 but then came the bad sign. She requested for a treatment on her right arm during the changeover.

But when she returned to the court, her game fell apart. She lost four games en route to hand anther victory to Dulko.
