It claimed they violated a court's condition which banned them from leading rallies after joining a rally of their supporters at Sanam Luang on Monday night.
Meanwhile, the DAAD leaders would file a complaint to the court tomorrow (August 8), defending they were at the rally but did not take on the public stage.
Pol Gen Chutti Thamnowanit, the deputy Metropolitan Police chief, filed a complaint to the court, asking it to withdraw the on-bail release of seven DAAD leaders.
He claimed the seven leaders violated the court's order which released them on condition that they would not lead rallies, give provocative interviews or threaten national security.
The seven DAAD leaders include Veera Musigapong, Jatuporn Phromphan, Jakrapob Penkair, Natthawut Saikua, Wiputalaeng Patanapumithai, Apiwan Wiriyachai and Weng Tojirakarn. The first six names were released on bail on Monday while Weng was freed on bail on Friday.
Meanwhile, the court gave the DAAD leaders three days to file a defending complaint.
DAAD lawyer Jesada Chandee said the seven leaders had the rights to join the rally as they did not address anything to the public. He would tomorrow (August 8) file the complaint to the court to dismiss the police's allegation.
