Global warming exhibition

Thailand Knowledge Park (TK Park) is holding a Global Warming Exhibition until the end of the month.

The exhibition is divided into four zones:

  • The Environmental Friendly Zone displays an energysaving room, in which the furniture is made from recycled products.
  • The Optional Energy Zone shows many means of reducing global warming through alternative energy use, including solar cells, steam power and biochemical energy (such as biodiesel and NGV - natural gas for vehicles - power).
  • The Future Transportation Zone covers prototypes of future environmentally friendly transportation such as hybrid buses, and a model futurecity plan in which bicycles are a major means of getting around.
  • The Global Warming Zone exhibits the effects of global warming around the world, such as the damage from hurricanes and floods.

The exhibition is open to the public every day from 10am to 8 pm on the 8th floor of CentralWorld Plaza on Bangkok's Rajdamri Road. Entry is free of charge.

Call (02) 257 4300 or log on www.tkpark.or.th for more information.
