Commerce Minister Krirk-krai Jirapaet said that 37.3 per cent of 221 surveyed exporters said export growth will increase during July-September, 44.3 per cent expected the export to be unchanged, while 18.4 per cent expected a drop.
Expected to enjoy growth are the exports of computer, electrical and electronic appliances, plastic products, automobile, jewellery and accessories, food, canned food, frozen seafood, vegetables and para rubber. To face softer demand are garments, furniture and rice.
Exporters also urged for baht stabilisation measures as well as national election to restore foreign investor confidence.
