PM Surayud assures Japan
Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont yesterday assured former Japanese premier Yoshiro Mori that Thailand was heading for an election at the end of the year and that a new government would be formed early next year.

Mori was in Thailand to represent Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the opening ceremony of the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology, a joint project between the two countries. - The Nation
