Export target raised to 15%

The Commerce Ministry plans to revise up the export growth target to 15 per cent from 12.5 per cent, on the back of robust growth in the first half.

The export value in dollar term will then be increased to US$149 billion from $145 billion, said Commerce Minister Krirk-krai Jirapaet.

He said that the Commerce Ministry is convinced that the new target could be achieved due to the 18 per cent growth in export during the first half of this year.
