Unescap meets on trade promotion

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (Unescap) yesterday kicked off a three-day Expert Group Meeting on Promoting Trade between Asian Subregions.

Twenty senior officials, academics and representatives from the private sector in the Asia-Pacific are attending the meeting in the Chinese city of Kunming. The focus is on trade facilitation, agriculture and innovation - three major issues related to promoting trade between East, South and Southeast Asia. - The Nation
