Chakvetadze rose from seventh to sixth place courtesy of her fourth 2007 title and sixth overall, won on Sunday in Stanford. The 20-year-old Russian has 2,541 points, swapping positions with former number one Amelie Mauresmo, who is on 2,424 points.
