Thai Silp daily workers get paid

The 92 per cent wages for dail workers are paid Monday, while the rest 8 per cent would be paid on Friday.



Thai Silp South East Import Export already paid 92 percent of wages via Bank Thai (BT) to 4,000 daily workers on Monday morning, totalling Bt9 million.

BT gave the daily workers their account books and ATM cards at 10.00 am. The company also announced the time schedule to pay wages for the each department's workers to avoid confusion.

While another 8 percent of their wages will be paid on Friday together with monthly workers after the assets of the company, which are not mortgaged, have been sold.

However, it is not clear whether the workers will get full compensation.
